Carrot body:
1. MC, sc4 (4)
2. sc around (4)
3. (sc, inc) x2 (6)
4 - 5. sc around (2 rounds of 6)
6. (2sc, inc) x2 (8)
7. sc around (8)
8. (2sc, dec) x2 (6)
Fasten off and close shut.

Carrot leaves:
1. ch4
2. in the second ch from the hook, 3sc.
3. don’t fasten off, and ch4 from the base of the first chain.
4. in the second ch from the hook, 3sc.
Fasten off with a tail of yarn.

Attach the leaves to the carrot body.

Little Buddy Satchel Bag

Bag:
1. ch6
2. in the second ch from the hook, 4sc, 3sc in the last ch. Now working up the other side of the chain 4sc, 3sc in the last stitch.

Now working in rounds:
3 - 8. sc around (6 rounds of 14)

ch1 and turn.

Now working in rows (at the end of each row, ch1 and turn):
9. sc7 (7)
10. sc2tog, 3 sc, sc2tog (5)
11. sc2tog, sc, sc2tog (3)
12. sc3tog (1)
Fasten off and weave in the end.

Bag trim and strap:
Fasten your yarn to the edge of round 8 and single crochet around the edge of rows 9 - 12. Don’t fasten off.

Make a chain the matches the length around your Little Buddy. I did a chain of 27.

Attach the chain to the other side of round 8. Fasten off and weave in the end.

Using a small piece of scrap yarn, fasten the flap to the bag base.
